    TMFA Man

The Technology for Marketing & Advertising event in Manchester saw the introduction of a brand new EventBeat feature in the form of Twitpics that could be displayed in the feeds on the EventBeat ‘podium of power’. This brought a whole new social dimension to the Twitter podium at the event, which could now display visitors’ pictures of conferences, seminars and general points of interest at the venue as they happened.

Furthermore, the software showcased its fantastic announcement and broadcasting capabilities. This feature sprung into action when it was realised that the paper flyers that were distributed were relatively ineffective when it came to informing visitors of show times. EventBeat came to the rescue by broadcasting the required information onto the display units which significantly helped visitors find the exhibitions they were looking for.
